Once Upon a Time

Once Upon a Time there was a student named Sarah.

Everyday

she would train to be the greatest magic-user there ever was.

One Day

One day, her mentor, Muna, sends her and Sabrina, another student, on a quest to kill an evil beast living in an ancient temple.

Because of that

Because of that Sarah becomes annoyed by Sabrina and her fighting style (or lack of one) and believes she is holding her back.

Because of that

Because of that Sarah decides to ditch Sabrina at the temple, thinking she can complete the task faster by herself (considering she’s the strongest).

Because of that

Because of that, Sarah gets hurt by the beast, being way in over her head, and realizes that she’s not as strong as she thinks. She keeps fighting the beast but is losing quickly.

Because of that

Because of that Sabrina hears the commotion from the fight and comes running over. She tames them with her kindness, understanding they felt threatened.

Because of that

Because of that However, the ceiling starts to collapse, the fighting has made the building unstable, and the beast pushes Sabrina out of the way, getting hit in the process. Sabrina rushes over to try and rescue the beast from under the rubble.

Until finally

Until finally Sarah has to make a choice. She could go and leave the two to die, completing her objective/quest, or she could help Sabrina rescue the beast, which could be deadly for the both of them.

Until Finally

Sarah gets up and goes to help Sabrina lift the stone off the beast. She then casts a force-field-like spell (to which Sabrina helps her with) to protect the three as the temple collapses. Once the dust has cleared Sabrina checks to make sure the beast is alright.

Until finally

Then, the beast turns into Muna, showing that the whole thing had been a trial/test. After Sarah’s endless apologizing and her reassuring statements towards her student, Muna then starts to cast a spell with the relic which turns into a beam that creates the Northern Lights in the sky.
